Parrucche was established in 2010 after Melanie’s mum Pat was diagnosed with Cancer in 2008 and had to wear wigs.

Its our great team of ladies that allow us to provide a unique 1 to 1 service and with their extensive knowledge and experience you can be assured you are in good hands.
Melanie
Business owner
Melanie graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics and International Management from Glasgow University, then worked primarily in the Finance sector before opening Parrucche, providing Melanie with the foundations to start Parrucche over a decade ago.
As well as running the business Melanie is fully qualified in Wig Consulting and Custom Hair moulds and with the help of her team, continues to introduce new wig brands and wig wearing techniques to keep Parrucche one of the leaders in Wig Provision in the UK.
Lisa
Manager and wig stylist
Lisa has been with Parrucche since 2015, and as well as managing the team, is our top Wig Stylist. With an extensive background in hairdressing & styling, she ensures she is up to speed with the latest trends in colour, styles and cuts.
With her creativity, she brings new ideas to wig styling, cutting and rejuvinations and her down to earth personality, experience and understanding is why customers love coming back to visit.
Jane
Wig consultant and custom hair specialist
Jane joined Parrucche in April 2014, working as a Wig Consultant but she is also our Custom Made Hair Specialist and Little Princess Trust Charity Consultant.
Jane had many years of working in the wig industry before joining Parrucche, thus has extensive knowledge of all things wigs,with her attention to detail and gentle nature, she ensures that you find the alternative hair solution that best meets your needs.
Michelle
Wig consultant
Michelle joined the Parrucche family in 2019 and is one our Wig Consultants, with hairdressing & barbering experience and having worked in the wig industry many years ago, she is an expert in cutting and understanding clients’ needs.
Michelle is always upbeat and her can do attitude and determination to ensure her clients leave with something that gives them a lift and confidence boost, makes her very popular with our customers.
Melissa
Wig consultant and stylist
Melissa is our Wig Consultant who specialises in Styling & Colouring has many years of experience working with wigs and hairdressing. As well as continually building on her colouring and styling techniques through courses & competitions, she has assisted on various photoshoots & is known for her lively yet professional attitude.
Melissa enjoys making a client feel special, and that they leave the salon with alternative hair that gives them confidence. With her experience as a Health Care Worker she understands the importance of listening to a clients needs & provides the compassion needed if someone needs a wig or hairpiece due to medical reasons.
Stephanie
Marketing manager
Stephanie is Melanie’s sister, and not only is she Parrucche’s Marketing Manager, she is normally the first to see the new Wig collections sent through from our various Wig suppliers, so she has many many wig images & styles at her finger tips to recommend to the Parrucche team.
Stephanie has an Honours Degree in Fashion with Business and has many years of experience in the fashion industry working with big brand retailers, therefore has an excellent eye for style, colours & trends. Stephanie liaises with all of our wig stockists and affiliates ensuring that Parrucche’s Social platforms are engaging & informative, and offers the most current looks & styles.
Chelsea
Social media creator
Chelsea works alongside Stephanie as our Social Media Content Creator. Capturing images & creating ideas to keep Parrucche up to date on our Social Media platforms.
With an Honours Degree in Fashion Marketing & Retailing and several years experience in Digital marketing and Social Media Branding, Chelsea has a keen eye for Fashion & what’s trending on various Socials. She has a very patient, calming & understanding nature, ensuring that puts anyone at ease when filming content & taking feedback from the Parrucche team on what customers are looking to see online.
